Who runs this site

This site is run by Daniel Akselrod, an individual photographer based in the Bay Area and Pacific Northwest. For anything on this page — a question, a takedown request, a correction — email dan.akselrod@gmail.com.

What this site collects

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate visitor and page-view counts, referral sources, approximate location, and browser and device information. It does not use analytics cookies or advertising trackers. The dashboard does not identify individual visitors or show their IP addresses. See Vercel's analytics privacy documentation for details about how the service processes traffic data.

Every font and photograph is served from this domain. There is no contact form; Contact lists an email address and Instagram handle, so messages you send through those services are not submitted through this website.

Hosting logs

The site is a set of static files served by a hosting provider (Vercel). Like virtually any web host, it keeps standard server access logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested — for security and reliability. Those logs belong to the host, are not used by this site to build a profile of visitors, and are not linked to anything else.

The photographs

Every photograph on this site was made by Daniel Akselrod and remains his copyright. They may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without written permission. If you appear in one and would like it taken down, email dan.akselrod@gmail.com and it will come down.

Your rights

The site's traffic dashboard contains aggregate statistics rather than visitor profiles. For privacy questions, email the address above. If you have emailed Daniel, you can also ask for that message to be deleted — there is no charge and no form to fill in.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
