Who I am

I'm Daniel, based in the Bay Area & Pacific Northwest. I'm usually outside, sometimes on a mountain.

Photography wasn't really a plan. I picked up a camera, liked what I saw through it, and kept going. That's still basically the whole story. I like to shoot cars, people, and landscapes. Anything that interests me.

When I'm not shooting I'm hiking, snowboarding, or finding some other reason to be out in the kind of weather most people stay inside for. I think that's part of why I like photography. It gives you a reason to actually look at where you are instead of just passing through it.

Everything on this site I shot myself. No team, no agency. Just me, the camera, and wherever the light is good.
